Polka Dotting Ornaments
We’ve always got the hots for polka dots!
We loved this cute idea from Fran. Fran showed us how to put polka dots on ornaments. Anyone can do this.. so be creative and give it a try!
Fran put polka dots on these small ornaments AND she made this adorable little tree, including the gingerbread toppers! She is a CRAFT QUEEN!
Buy your supplies:
* craft paint(s)
* sponge brush
* glue (optional)
* ornaments
* ultra fine glitter (optional)
To start the polka dots, leave them in their original package and start the front side of your ornaments. Take the end of your sponge/paint brush and dip it in the craft paint. (Try not to get too much paint.) Set the wet ornament back in its package, painted side up.
Once all of the front sides are done, start doing the same thing (in a polka dot pattern) on the back side. Depending on the size of ornaments you have, you might have to rotate more than twice.
THANKS FRAN!
From Fran’s idea, we did our own polka dotted ornaments and decided to add some glitter.
If you want to add glitter to your polka dots make sure the paint is totally dry. Dip the end of your dry brush in glue and place it over the painted dots. Next, sprinkle some ultra fine glitter over the wet glue and now let that dry before you do the other side(s).

HAVE FUN!
